First battle:
• Was not successful
• Brought great loss, discouragement and defeat.
- God showed Joshua the problem and the way to fix it:
• 2006 – Was a year for adjusting, fixing and shifting people and things into proper order for the greater victory in 2007.
- Joshua received God's authorization. (A Replevin)
• The Israelites faithfully followed God's instructions, destroyed their enemies and took all of Ai's wealth for themselves.
- What did not work last year will now work for those who:
• Made proper preparation.
• Made their transition into God's new order for life, family and ministry.
